Two years after the inauguration of MINATEC® in Grenoble, the charter members of the French research and technological center for Micro and Nanotechnologies signed a governance agreement on June 27, 2008.
This agreement specifies the terms of MINATEC® functioning and the mechanisms for consultation between all partners.
On the same day, Jean-Charles Guibert was appointed first Director of MINATEC® after serving as a major actor in the conception and establishment of this center of excellence. Starting from setting up the scientific content of MINATEC® missions up to promoting internationally the model of MINATEC®, Guibert is also the director of the technologic transfer division at CEA and senior advisor in nanotechnology for different organizations.
