International summer school at Phelma-MINATEC

Every summer, up to 60 students from around the world—Singapore, Finland, Denmark, Brazil, Mexico, China, India, the US, and the UK—come to Grenoble to study micro and nanotechnology at the Grenoble Institute of Technology-Phelma engineering school.

Summer School @ MINATEC is open to Bachelor’s students at top-tier universities who have been recruited by Grenoble Institute of Technology’s International Relations Department. Over the five-week program, participants take nearly 40 hours of science and engineering classes, complete 20 hours of lab work in a clean room, and take courses in cross-cultural teamwork and creativity and innovation.

The Summer School also includes fun social activities offered in conjunction with the ISERE program: these include an international weekend in the mountains, wine-tasting sessions, and tours of the area’s main research centers, including MINATEC.
