Ceradrop is first and foremost a materials specialist with expertise in ceramics, metals, and polymers. Its scientists have developed advanced techniques for putting these materials into solutions for inkjet printers used to fabricate electronic components. Ceradrop’s printers are capable of making flexible organic circuits, 3D structures, and millimeter-scale components. This modern manufacturing process gives remarkable results in terms of precision, homogeneity, and thickness control (< 50 microns for the minutest details).

Ceradrop’s printers are designed for small- to medium-sized and custom production runs. The company is currently working with IMEP-LAHC, a MINATEC laboratory, to develop a process for making magnetic components with complex geometries.

Ceradrop, a CNRS spinoff, is based in Limoges in central France. It opened a site on the MINATEC campus in order to provide technical support to its customers in the region and boost its visibility on an international scale, since the company targets a global market. Ceradrop’s 12 employees generate some €1 million of annual revenue.
