Conception, fabrication and characterization of a 3 axe force sensor using the M&NEMS technology
Offer N°: 2193
Start date: 1 Oct 2010
MEMS technology for the sensor manufacturing is widely spread, for example in automotive industry (accelerometer for airbag), or, more recently in consumer market with gaming systems. For these applications, sensors must be cheaper and cheaper, that means smaller and smaller, and integrate more functions without lowering their performances. However, an homothetic sensor size decrease inevitably induces a resolution decrease.

Cooperative Positioning and Tracking Algorithms for Mobile Groups of Body Area Networks
Offer N°: 2192
Start date: 1 Oct 2010
Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) are expected to meet numerous market needs in a variety of applications such as emergency, healthcare, security and entertainment.

Hybrid optical device design and realization for high resolution imaging in the nanometric range.
Offer N°: 2180
Start date: 1 Oct 2010
Miniaturized optoelectronic device development on Si wafer requires micronic optical elements with high focusing performances. Micro lenses can already be integrated in operating devices but their intrinsic focusing capacities are limited by diffraction. Besides, based on meta-materials engineering, perfect lens realization had been theoretically proven without resolution limits.

Study and realization of a helium magnetometer
Offer N°: 2172
Start date: 1 Oct 2010
The LETI takes advantage of two decades of proven expertise in the design of optically pumped magnetometers. The laboratory is currently involved with CNES and ESA in a program of Earth observation and wants to bid for planetary missions, for which the integration of magnetometers is a critical issue.
