Grenoble-based artist Valérie Legembre isn’t afraid of science! In fact, she has even developed her own patented photographic process, Peaux-de-photos®, which is used to separate an emulsion (photographic image) from its paper medium. Therefore it is no surprise that she enjoys exploring the world of science and reflecting the people who work there in her artwork. Valérie is currently completing a one-year residency at CEA, and will later move on to INAC, DTBS, and INES (in Chambéry) before finishing her creative tour at the Arc Nucléart lab. The CEA-Hexagone Art-Sciences Department is overseeing the residency and cataloguing the new insights it produces; the Department will also hold exhibits of the artist’s work and publish a log of her creations.
