Claudie Haigneré to inaugurate MINATEC Visitor Center
The new MINATEC Visitor Center, located in the foyer of Maison MINATEC, will be inaugurated by Claudie Haigneré on June 22 during MINATEC Crossroads—quite an honor! The 200 square-meter, three-room facility was designed for use by the general public.
The former French Research Minister will have a busy schedule that day; in addition to inaugurating the center, she will also chair the first meeting of the MINATEC Visionary Board to be held earlier in the day. After the inauguration, she will head to a Crossroads plenary session to talk about the challenges of sharing and disseminating science, technology, and innovation in the 21st century, citing as an example the UniverSciences program, which she heads, and which was born from the merger of two museums, the Cité des Sciences and the Palais de la Découverte.
