A new book titled Physics and Operation of Silicon Devices in Integrated Circuits offers a six-chapter, 372-page review of the latest information on microelectronics—perfect for engineers, researchers, PhD students, and teachers. A previous French edition of the book was published in 2003. This new English edition has been substantially updated with recent information on SOI technology, heterojunction bipolar transistors, and non-volatile memories. Jacques Gautier of Léti edited the volume and five MINATEC researchers (Mireille Mouis, Francis Balestra, and Sorin Cristoloveanu from IMEP-LAHC and Julien Buckley and Thierry Poiroux from Léti) contributed four chapters.
