Kiev Polytechnic Institute graduate Anton Korniienko discovered France during his third year at Lyon’s École Centrale, and through his culminating internship at Léti. After earning a Master’s degree in Ukraine, Anton came to Léti to work on his thesis on microelectronics for automatics applications. On October 22, 2009 Anton went back to his home country, where he gave a presentation on France’s academic and research opportunities at Kiev’s annual European Student Convention. He described the French university and “Grande Ecole” systems and talked about his own research at MINATEC. He emphasized the quality of the facilities that he is able to use at the campus. Anton’s talk sparked interest among more than a few Ukrainian students at the event.
