For the first time this year, Grenoble Institute of Technology-Phelma will send a presentation CD about the school to the 7,500 students eligible for the school’s entrance exams. This marks a major break from the past, when candidates were sent a thick envelope containing a multitude of paper brochures. The CD is light (helpful for mailing), appealing, and easy to use. It contains the school brochure, the student union brochure, the student handbook, information about housing, and a newsletter with highlights from the previous academic year. The CD also contains videos and several photos of the school and its laboratories. Moreover, it is interactive in that students can simply click on a link to visit the school’s website.
