Loïc Liétar, 47, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of STMicroelectronics, has been chosen to succeed Philippe Delorme (from Schneider Electric) as Chairman of the Minalogic Board of Directors. The other Board members will remain the same, and will consist of Erwann Binet (from the Isère General Council), Paul Jacquet (from Grenoble Institute of Technology), Stéphane Renard (from Tronics Microsystems), and Jean Therme (from CEA).
 
One of Minalogic’s main priorities over the coming months will be to present Grenoble’s proposals for funding received from the Sarkozy government’s “large loan”. Minalogic has several projects on the cards that involve local governments as well as companies and research organizations, which aim to bolster the Isère-based cluster’s excellence in nanotechnology. These projects now need to be promoted before the regional and national authorities.
