MINATEC introduces a Visionary Board
The kickoff meeting of the MINATEC Visionary Board will take place during MINATEC Crossroads in June 2010. The Board will bring together around 20 international experts (including five from France) to make recommendations on the future of MINATEC’s model and strategy. It is hoped that Board members will also raise MINATEC’s profile in their home countries. The members will come from diverse backgrounds, and will include high-level scientists, user sociologists, and directors of major research institutes. France will be represented by Claudie Haigneré, a former astronaut and Minister of Research and New Technology, who has already agreed to sit on the Board. The Visionary Board is scheduled to meet every two years.
