MINATEC takes good care of visitors
Some 30,000 visitors come to the MINATEC innovation campus each year. To give them a warmer welcome, MINATEC has partnered with science-education organization CCSTI to design and install a 200-square-meter visitors’ center, which will include educational displays about the “nano” world and the technologies developed at the site.
The exhibit will start in the reception area. As soon as visitors arrive, several eye-catching installations—including an interactive sphere that shows how ferrofluids work—will immerse them in the world of the infinitely small. The exhibit will continue inside the Maison MINATEC, where an entertaining virtual campus tour will be installed. Another new area dedicated to innovation will open this fall. Hosts will be given a handbook to help them ensure that their guests get the most out of their tour.
