MINATEC Young Researchers’ Network on tour
The MINATEC Young Researchers’ Network, founded last fall, is organizing several tours of local companies. The purpose is to bring research and industry closer together by giving PhD candidates a chance to meet with engineers in the business world.
The network went to Air Liquide Electronic Systems (distribution and treatment systems for ultra-pure gases and liquids for the semiconductor and photovoltaics industries) on March 29 and to Tronic’s Microsystems (MEMS development and fabrication) on April 2. An additional three tours are planned by summer, to Adeunis RF (100% wireless transmission systems), STMicroelectronics, and Soitec.
