Perrine Batude earns recognition at international conferences

Perrine Batude’s PhD dissertation, which she completed at Léti in late 2009, has received no fewer than four distinctions at international conferences. The most recent award (late last year) is also the most prestigious: Perrine won the best student paper award from IEDM, which many consider to be the most important conference worldwide for microelectronic component research.

Perrine has a degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Physique de Grenoble, and specializes in the 3D integration of elementary functions—a field that can reduce space requirements by 40% relative to planar integration. Léti hired her as soon as she finished her dissertation. Ms. Batude recognizes the value of teamwork; she always takes care to highlight her colleagues’ contribution to the work that has earned her these distinctions.
