Promise boosts Grenoble’s competitiveness in proteins
Promise Advanced Proteomics is a burgeoning company formed from the union of CEA’s biotechnology research and PX’Therapeutics’ know-how in engineering and the production of recombinant proteins for biomedical research. Promise plans to leverage an innovative process developed by the Proteomes Dynamics Research Laboratory. The process, patented in 2007, is perfectly suited to the study of therapeutic proteins and biomarkers and can be used for quantitative protein analysis by mass spectrometry. Promise has already won over customers and has plans to form industrial partnerships. These advances will enable the company to establish a solid base and hire several employees in the next few months.
