Researchers and designers team up to imagine the objects of the future
For the second year in a row, a graduating class from Paris’ Ecole nationale supérieure de création industrielle (ENSCI) will come to Grenoble in early March to work on a project at MINATEC IDEAs Laboratory. Last year, a graduating class of around twelve students participated in the student-residence program, studying urban nightlife and working on public lighting systems. This year’s class will focus on creative thinking about multimodal living spaces. The students will work with researchers and be supervised by a designer from Inconito, a design agency based in Annecy. They will aim to come up with new ideas for helping people accommodate their living spaces for a variety of uses and activities. They will also recommend feasible devices and scenarios using technologies under development at MINATEC.
