MINATEC

MINATEC videos could very well be shown on YouTube in the near future. Its short videos on consumer applications for MINATEC-developed technologies, along with recordings of the Midis MINATEC brown-bag lunches, are just two of the possibilities. The recommendation to show videos on YouTube came from Grenoble Ecole de Management students, who recently assessed MINATEC’s web presence.
 
While the students felt that the MINATEC website is attractive in terms of design and updated content, they also suggested improving the visibility of the nanoscience portal by merging it with the website, which would also boost search engine rankings for both the portal and website. The students also raised the issue of social networks, recommending that MINATEC post videos on YouTube and announce events on Twitter and Facebook. MINATEC is currently discussing the students’ proposals.
