MINATEC backs youth science competitions

MINATEC has backed France’s Physics Olympics for the past four years and will give this year’s three winners—all seniors at Newton High School in Clichy (near Paris)—a guided tour of the innovation campus as part of their prize packages. In May the winners will head to the US to represent France at the International Science and Engineering Fair, the world’s largest international pre-college science competition.
This year MINATEC will also host the academic finals of France’s Engineering Olympics on May 3, 2012. The tough competition will pit 14 teams of high-school engineering students against one another—with, of course, breaks to tour the MINATEC campus and showroom.
