A new applied research degree, called the DRI (Diplôme de Recherche et d’Innovation), will replace the former DRT (Diplôme de Recherche Technologique). Offered jointly by Grenoble Institute of Technology and Grenoble University-UJF, this new degree targets students with an engineering or other Master’s-level degree as well as young professionals seeking additional specialized qualifications. The program will provide applied research opportunities at companies and labs via twelve- to eighteen-month internships. This field experience will be coupled with 150 hours of classroom teaching on management and innovation. The DRI will cover the following fields: energy; the environment; information and communication technology; materials; micro and nanotechnologies; and production systems.
